Copyright & takedown policy
Notable respects the intellectual property rights of instructors, universities and publishers, and responds quickly to removal requests.
What may not be uploaded
Students may only share materials they created themselves. The following may not be uploaded to Notable:
- Lecture slides, handouts or recordings created by an instructor
- Exam papers, quiz questions or answer keys
- Textbook pages, solution manuals or publisher materials
- Anything a course explicitly forbids sharing
Requesting a removal
If you own the copyright in material posted here, email copyright@studynotable.com with:
- Your name, signature and contact details
- A description of the work you say was copied
- The exact page addresses on Notable holding the material
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised
- A statement that the information you have given is accurate
We remove material as soon as we have verified a valid request, and we suspend or ban accounts that repeatedly post other people's work.
If your upload was removed
You can reply to the removal notice explaining why the material was yours to share. We'll review it and restore the document if the claim was mistaken.
